Shannon Remley
Lead Vocals
Shannon's Bio
Shannon Remley brings professional theatre training, extensive touring experience and a commanding live presence to Y2K Kids.
Originally from Charlotte, Shannon earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia before moving to New York City to pursue a career on stage. She went on to perform in national touring productions, regional theatre, new-musical workshops and aboard two ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
Along the way, Shannon expanded her résumé beyond musical theatre. She worked as a voice actor with iHeartRadio and had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at New York’s Citi Field.
After returning to Charlotte, Shannon transitioned into working full time in music, combining her professional vocal background with years of experience entertaining audiences around the country. As a lead vocalist with Y2K Kids, she brings that experience to the pop, rock and unforgettable anthems of the 2000s—an era where huge vocals and big-stage energy are right at home.
Ray Hartsfield
Lead Vocals & Guitar
Ray's Bio
Ray Hartsfield brings authentic early-2000s rock roots to Y2K Kids.
Ray spent his formative years immersed in the MySpace-era metalcore and post-hardcore scene, playing bass and singing in bands that shared stages with artists including The Devil Wears Prada, For Today, and Oh, Sleeper. That DIY background gave him firsthand experience with the heavier side of the music that helped define the era.
Over time, Ray expanded beyond bass and vocals, learning acoustic and electric guitar as his interest in songwriting and composition grew. He went on to perform and write with North Carolina bands spanning emo, jazz rock, progressive metal, and other styles, while also developing original material for solo acoustic performances.
In addition to performing, Ray taught music lessons in Greenville, NC for nearly a decade. He also holds a Master’s degree in English from East Carolina University and currently teaches English at the college level.
With Y2K Kids, Ray gets to revisit an era that overlaps directly with his own musical beginnings, bringing both experience and perspective to the music of the 2000s.
Roey Haviv
Bass Guitar
Roey's Bio
Bassist Roey Haviv brings a deep background in performance, composition and studio recording to Y2K Kids.
Born in Jerusalem, Israel, Roey attended the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance and has spent his career working across a broad spectrum of musical projects. From performing with a variety of acts to recording as a session musician, his experience has given him a musical vocabulary that stretches across genres and generations.
Roey has also released four original solo albums, showcasing another side of his work as a musician and creative artist.
That versatility makes him right at home with Y2K Kids, where the music of the 2000s moves freely between pop, rock, alternative and other era-defining sounds. Roey provides the foundation underneath it all, helping bring the songs of the decade back to life on stage.
G K Via
Lead Guitar & Vocals
GK's Bio
GK Via brings a lifelong love of guitar and years of national touring experience to Y2K Kids.
He first picked up the instrument at 13 and has spent the years since writing, recording, and performing with bands across the country. Along the way, GK has shared the stage with acts including Biohazard, Black Label Society, Saliva, and Skid Row.
Although he has deep roots in hard rock and metal, GK’s musical influences extend into country, pop, singer-songwriter music, and beyond. That broad background has given him the flexibility to move between the many styles that shaped popular music in the 2000s.
After relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2017, GK continued performing throughout the area and became a fixture in the local music scene.
With Y2K Kids, he brings that experience to a decade filled with massive guitar tones, polished pop production, alternative rock, and some of the most recognizable songs of the era.
Rob Bowser
Keyboards & Synths
Rob's Bio
With decades of experience as both a performer and educator, Rob brings a seasoned musical ear and plenty of versatility to Y2K Kids.
Rob has been playing keyboards for more than 30 years and performing professionally for over 15. His career has taken him through live bands, churches, private events and professional productions, as well as performances alongside touring independent artists, including several who have achieved Billboard chart success.
Teaching has also played an important role in his career. As a professional music instructor, Rob has spent years helping students improve their musicianship and become more confident performers.
That combination of technical ability, live experience and adaptability makes him a natural fit for Y2K Kids. From polished pop production to rock, alternative and keyboard-driven hits, Rob helps recreate the diverse sounds that made the 2000s such a distinctive era of music.
Mike Graci
Drums & Electronic Percussion
Mike's Bio
Long before Y2K Kids took the stage, Mike Graci had already built a lifetime around live music.
Mike grew up constantly listening to music, and at age 12 he discovered the instrument that would become his career. After seeing a friend’s older brother’s drum set, he signed up for lessons and spent the next decade-plus studying drums.
His first band gigs came at 16. By 19, Mike was also teaching other drummers. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Long Island University while continuing to play shows and teach lessons, including positions with Long Island Drum Center and Farmingdale Music Center.
Mike’s career has always revolved around performing. He has averaged more than 100 shows a year for much of his adult life. After moving to Charlotte, North Carolina with his family, he added another unique experience to his résumé: five years playing percussion for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats.
Mike eventually turned his years of performance experience toward creating and managing tribute bands. After launching successful projects such as Chicago Rewired and Kids in America, the concept continued to grow into additional eras of music. Y2K Kids brings that journey into the 2000s, with Mike helping deliver a live show built around the songs that defined the turn of the millennium and the decade that followed.
